Terrific Tuesdays- Don't Miss Blog Posts of the Week

I did these types of posts waaaaay back in the day when I blogged regularly.  Since then my blogging habits have been endangered (but never extinct!) and now that they are safely back on the rise again, I wanted to show my love to my fellow bloggers once more.  Thanks for all of the hard work that makes me happy to be in such good company. :)

DYNAMITE DISCUSSION STARTERS:
~The Book Arista discusses "Someday Books"  as does Marie at The Boston Bibliophile
~Tasha at Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Books asks, "Should we lower our standards for self-published work?"
~Tif at Tif Talks Books shares her love of her local library system and asks about the libraries and library habits of her readers.
~Tasha had another good discussion topic when she asked, "What's more important- the story or the writing?"  I know this was back from August 5th but it was a really great question, so I am including it. :)

REVIEWS THAT MADE ME ADD THE BOOK TO MY TBR:

~S. Krishna Books - The Maid and the Queen by Nancy Goldstone
~Wordsmithsonia - The Unconquered by Scott Wallace (plus a giveaway)~Devourer of Books - Jack 1939 by Francine Matthews
~Wordsmithsonia- Ryan grabs me again with his review of The Gospel According to the Fix by Chris Cillizza (plus giveaway)~Devourer of Books - Jen gets me twice, too, with I Am Forbidden by Anouk Markovits
~Life in the Thumb- Cinder by Marissa Meyer  I had seen a few reviews but Staci's really made me want to read it because she mentioned Cinder was a cyborg.  How had I missed that?
~One Literature Nut - Dietgirl by Shauna Reid
~The Starry-Eyed Revue - The Treachery of Beautiful Things by Ruth Frances Long

INTRIGUING INTERVIEWS:
~Lenore at Presenting Lenore interviews Kat Zhang, author of What's Left of Me  (plus giveaway)

GREAT GUEST POSTS:

~Why I Love Writing Historical Romances by Holly Bush (plus a giveaway) at Historical Tapestry
~Favorite Type of Immortals by Megan S. Johnston at a Buckeye Girl Reads

FABULOUSLY FUN POSTS:

~Tasha comes up with some Rom-Com Mash-Ups and invites us to play along.  Fun!
~Raych at books I done read wrote a book review of a book she totally hated.  And we love her for it because it is endlessly entertaining to read.

And if you have not yet been over to The Estella Society, then get ye buttocks over there quick, chop chop!

  6. I love and dread these types of posts at the same time ... more blogs to visit but yet I don't get any extra time! I Am Forbidden is really interesting too.
