This short book is a memorable collection of thoughts, prayers, and stories of Mother Teresa. She offers a glimpse into the heart and soul of her work with the poor. She also explains how in giving, we receive, and how love can make the world a better place, if only one person at a time.
My favorite take-aways from this book are:
"Holiness grows fast where there is kindness. The world is lost for want of sweetness and kindness."
"Love, to be real, must cost -- it must hurt -- it must empty us of self."
