It's My First Giveaway! - Book Giveaway Carnival

I am happy to announce my first ever giveaway here at Lost in Books! I wasn't sure that I would have a suitable book to give away but then after receiving some good comments and some e-mails about Imagist Poetry: An Anthology, I decided it might be a good book to use in my first giveaway.

Here is the link to my review of this anthology of wonderful Imagist period poetry from both famous poets and poets who you may not recognize, and here is a link to it on Amazon so you can read more about it. I really enjoyed this compact collection of some of the period's best work. So what to do if you want to enter for the giveaway?

1. Leave a comment telling why you would like to win a book of poetry.

2. For another entry, sign up as a follower of this blog and leave a seperate comment telling me you signed up. If you are already a follower of my blog, first of all, clearly you have excellent taste :). Second, just let me know that also in a seperate comment for your second entry.

You must enter by 12am EST on Saturday March 8th to be entered.
I will use random.org to choose the winner of the book on Saturday March 8th! Good luck!

UPDATE: I did not know this until today for sure, but I am going to be going out of town tomorrow through Saturday evening to finish moving. I will not have access to a computer during this time. Therefore, while you still need to enter by 12am on Saturday, I will not be posting the winner until Sunday. I apologize for any inconvience this has caused, but, hey, you're getting a free book! ;) Thanks for understanding and I will be back Sunday!

  3. I'm an engineer and, therefore, genetically literature challenged. I don't always understand it, but there's something about some poetry that just speaks to me. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to express why and it usually ends up being the lesser known poets and works that get me...and those can be harder to find. So, I'd love to win to help expand my horizons and maybe find some more poetry that speaks to my number and order loving engineering soul.
